Today before you think of saying an unkind word think of someone who can’t speak. Before you complain about the taste of your food think of someone who has nothing to eat. Before you complain about your husband or wife think of someone who is crying out to GOD for a companion. Today before you complain about life think of someone who went too early to heaven. Before you complain about your children think of someone who desires children but they’re barren. Before you argue about your dirty house, someone didn’t clean or sweep think of the people who are living in the streets. Before whining about the distance you drive think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet. And when you are tired and complain about your job think of the unemployed, the disabled and those who wished they had your job. But before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another remember that not one of us are without sin and we all answer to one maker. And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down put a smile on your face and thank God you’re alive and still around. Life is a gift-Live it, Enjoy it, Celebrate it, and Fulfill it...

Life lessons can come from unexpected places. I have learned much about myself from the game of racquetball. In fact, I have learned a great deal over the years about all aspects life and living on the racquetball court. Here are some of the more important lessons that have come from the court: People play better when they are encouraged. It’s true in life, too. People do better when they are encouraged, rather than criticized , condemned and judged. When two or more people occupy a small space, they should learn to share. It goes for planets, too. The only way to get better is to practice. And in life, the only way to improve relationships, learn courage or be happy is to practice. Pay attention. Those who lose their focus, lose games. And those people who are too distracted by yesterday or tomorrow will never live today fully and joyously. Focus on the present. There are always people who will do better than you. But your job is not to be the best, it is to do your best. Attitude really is everything. When you believe in your success, visualize it and work toward it, you are more likely to succeed. Losses are lessons. When I lose a game so badly that I am humiliated on the court, I thank my opponent for the free lesson. Failures are not endings; they are valuable opportunities to learn. The only way to score is to serve. Individuals and institutions that make a difference find ways to serve others. Additionally, those people who are happiest and most satisfied with their lives have learned to serve. Great lives are built on service

" No one has ever become poor by giving "
-Anne Frank, diary of anne frank , The Play

"The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well"

           IT
was many years ago. I was a college graduate with a degree but no job. My substitute teaching work had dried up and I was getting desperate. I had a family to feed and little money left. Fortunately, my oldest brother had been able to get me a job at the local lumber mill where he worked. While I was grateful, my first day there was quite a blow to my ego. The job paid barely above minimum wage. It was full of bending, lifting, and carrying heavy wood for eight hours a day. Splinters were soon my best pals and every day I went home aching and exhausted. Every morning I would pull myself out of bed and go to work knowing it was going to be another difficult day. I tried my best to keep my spirits up but many times during those years I found myself saying, “Why me, God? Why am I having to go through this? Why has my life not turned out the way I dreamed it would?” I never got an answer. It is only now many years later that I have a hint of why I had to go through those tough times. I needed them to shrink my ego and grow my humility. I needed them to deepen my faith in God and learn to trust in His guidance. I needed them to become more caring, compassionate, and loving. I needed them to learn that every person in this world is my sister or brother and that they all deserve my help and kindness. I think that it is the “Why Me?” times of our lives in which we grow the most. It is these times that bring us closest to God. It is these times that mature and refine our souls. If you are going through some “Why Me?” times then don’t give up. Use them to become stronger. Use them to become better. Use them to become kinder and more loving. Use them to grow into the person you were meant to be in this life, so you can take that person with you into the next.

There was once man who believed that he could read the future in the stars. He called himself an Astrologer and spent his time at night gazing at the sky. He was always busy worrying about future and so villagers often came to him, hoping to know what their future held for them. One evening he was walking along a road outside the village. His eyes were fixed on the stars. He thought he saw there that the end of the world was near. He again got lost in his thoughts about the future. As he was looking at the stars, he kept walking without looking down. Suddenly, he fell into a ditch full of mud and water. He was sinking in the muddy water, and madly trying to claw at the slippery sides of the hole in his effort to climb out. He was unable to do so, and fearing for his life, he started screaming for help. His cries for help soon brought the villagers running. As they pulled him out of the mud, one of them said, “You pretend to read the future in the stars, and yet you fail to see what is at your feet! This may teach you to pay more attention to what is right in front of you, and let the future take care of itself.” We all want our future to be bright and happy, but time doesn’t stop for anyone. Each tomorrow turns into today, your present is also a part of your future. There is always a tomorrow to look forward to and improve, but you can’t go back to yesterday. So, maintain the balance of your present life while you work for a better tomorrow. Learn to give your best to your present and you will realize that it will greatly improve your future as well. If you ignore the present, the future too will take a turn for the worse.๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒธ

The grass is always greener on the other side. We think thatour respective professions are the most challenging. But thetruth is that our challenges appear big in our eyes andsomeone else’s challenges seem insignificant. Magnifyingour problems and brushing aside the difficulties of otherswill lead to unhappiness, said M.A. Venkatakrishnan in adiscourse. There is a Panchatantra story about a washerman, hisdonkey and his dog. The donkey said to the dog, “You arelucky. You don’t have to carry loads of clothes. All you do issleep the whole day and keep watch at night.” The dog said:“All you do is carry the load to the river and while the mas-ter washes clothes you sleep. Then you come back home, carrying the washed clothes and rest again. But I have to bevigilant all the time.” So the two animals decided to swap duties. That night, the donkey sat up to guard its master’s possessions. A thieftried to sneak into the house, and the donkey brayed loudlyto warn its master. The washerman, woken from sleep, scol-ded the donkey for disturbing him. The dog, meanwhile, slept peacefully, while the thief made away with what hehad stolen. The next morning, the washerman discoveredthe theft and scolded the dog for being a useless guard. Thusthe animals learnt that each job comes with responsibilitiesand difficulties. We find fault with God for having made someone else’slife comfortable, while He has burdened us with problems. But it is not so at all. Only the wearer knows where the shoepinches and it is wrong to think that others have it easywhile we ourselves suffer. When something goes wrong in our lives, we blame theSupreme One. However, we are the ones to blame, for weface what we do in life because of our own actions.

A fair-weather friend is like a banker who  lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining and takes it back the minute it rains.

Two men were traveling through the forest and came across a bear. One of them quickly  climbed a tree but the other was  unable to,  so he lay  on the ground and played dead. The bear sniffed around his ear and left. The fellow from  the tree came down and asked him,  "What did the bear tell you?" The man replied, "He said, don't trust a friend who deserts you in danger."  The message is as dear as daylight.

Friendship takes sacrifice. Building friendships and relationships takes sacrifice, loyalty, and maturity. Sacrifice takes going out of one's way and never happens by the way. Selfishness destroys friendships. Casual acquaintances come easy but true friendships  take time to build and effort  to keep. Friendships  are put to tests and when they  endure, they grow  stronger. We must learn  to recognize counterfeit relationships. True friends do not want to see their friends hurt. True friendship gives more than it  gets and stands by adversity.

PROCRASTINATION achieves nothing positive. Go ahead and do what must be done, before it must be done. Purposeful effort is a joy. Fill your moments with an abundance of that particular joy. Delaying
the work just makes the work more difficult. So choose to do the work without delay, to do it now. No longer
will you be burdened by what must be done. You can be satisfied with what you have accomplished. Do the work
now, and earn the freedom of knowing you’re out in front of it. Then you can use your time in highly meaningful and
productive ways, not just striving to catch up. The sooner
you do the work, the more leverage you have. Time has great
value, so get that value working for you instead of against
you. Most likely, the task is not as difficult as you first imagine it to be. Most likely, the greatest difficulty to be over￾come is convincing yourself to get started with the effort.
So go ahead and make it much easier by letting go of the
need to fight with yourself. Just go ahead, get started, and
get it done.
Take all the energy you’ve put into avoiding the effort,
and redirect it into productive action.

ONCE Buddha was walking from one town to another town with a few of his followers. This was in the initial days. While they were travelling, they happened to pass a lake. They stopped there and Buddha told one of his disciples, I am thirsty. Do get me some water from that lake. The disciple walked up to the lake. When he reached it, he noticed that some people were washing clothes in the water and, right at that moment, a bullock cart started crossing through the lake. As aresult, the water became very muddy, very turbid. The disciple thought,How can I give this muddy water to Buddha to drink! So he came back and told Buddha, The water in there is very muddy. I don’t think it is fit to drink. After about half an hour, again Buddha asked the same disciple to go back to the lake and get him some water to drink. The disciple went back to the lake. This time he found that the lake had absolutely clear water in it. The mud had settle ddown. So he collected some water in a pot and brought it to Buddha. Buddha looked at thewater, and then he looked up at the disciple and said, See what you did to make the water clean. You let it be ... and the mud settled down on its own and you got clear water...Your mind is also like that. When it is disturbed, just let it be. Give it a little time to settle down . 🌸🌿🌸🌿

There were two childhood buddies who went  through school and college and even joined the army  together. War broke out and they were fighting in the same unit. One night they were ambushed. Bullets were flying all over and out of  the darkness  came a voice, "Harry, please come  and help me."  Harry immediately recognized the voice of his childhood buddy, Bill. He asked the captain if he could go.  The captain said, "No, I can't let you go, I am  already short-handed and I cannot afford to lose one more person. Besides, the way  Bill sounds he is not  going  to make it." Harry kept quiet. Again the voice came, "Harry, please come  and help me." Harry sat quietly because the captain had refused earlier.  Again and again the voice came. Harry couldn't contain himself any  longer and told the captain,  "Captain, this is my childhood buddy. I have to go and help." The captain reluctantly let him go. Harry crawled through the darkness and dragged Bill  back into the trench.  They found that Bill was dead. Now the captain got angry and shouted  at Harry, "Didn't I  tell you he was not going to make  it?  He is dead, you could have been  killed and I could have lost a hand. That was  a mistake." Harry replied, "Captain, I did the right thing. When I reached Bill he was still  alive and his last words were 'Harry, I knew you  would come."' Good relationships are hard to find and once developed should be nurtured. We are often told: Live  your dream. But you cannot live your dream  at the expense of others. People who do so  are unscrupulous. We need to  make personal sacrifices for our family, friends, and those we care about and who depend on us.🌸🌿🌸🌿

WORRY is a waste, and more than that, it is destructive. Because worry prevents other, more positive and effective thinking. Yes, you have problems, but you don’t have to let them overwhelm your thinking. Yes, you have concerns about the future, and you also have the ability to deal with them. Feeling sorry for yourself focuses your mind on limitation, weakness and despair. There is nothing useful in doing that. No matter what your situation, you can choose to think anything, literally anything. So choose to think thoughts of strength, progress, empowerment. Acknowledge the problem, and also acknowledge all the good things you have going for you. Then face forward, with energy and confidence. You have the opportunity to make a positive difference, so don’t let that opportunity slip by. Grab this time now, free of worry, filled with clear, positive thoughts, and act to make life better. There is no limit to the number of ways in which you can create real value. Breathe deeply, smile lovingly, and just do it. The moment you’re in is plenty. The place where you are is an ideal place from which to move forward.🌸🌿🌸🌿

There are some personalities  that can be labelled as argumentative and that shows in their behavior and relationships. Arguments can be avoided and  a lot of heartache prevented  by being a little careful. The best way to win an argument is to avoid it. An argument is  one thing you will never win. If you win, you lose; if  you lose,  you lose. If you win an argument but lose a good job, customer, friend or marriage, what  kind of victory is  it? Pretty empty. Arguments result from inflated ego. Arguing is like fighting a losing battle. Even if one wins, the cost  may be more than the victory is  worth. Emotional battles  leave a residual ill will even if you win. In an argument, both people are trying to have the last word. Argument is nothing more than a battle of egos and  results in a yelling contest.  A bigger fool than the one who knows  it all is the one who argues with him. 🌸🌿🌸🌿

Live while you are alive. Don't die before you are dead. Enthusiasm and desire are what change mediocrity to excellence. SMILE*
A smile costs nothing,  but it creates much. It enriches those who receive it without impoverishing those who give it. It happens in a flash, and the memory of it may last forever. None are so rich that they  can get along without it, and none so poor that they cannot  be richer for its benefits. It creates happiness in the home, fosters goodwill in a business, and is the countersign of friends. It is rest to the weary,  daylight to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad, and nature's best antidote for trouble. Yet it cannot be begged, bought, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is worth nothing to anyone until it is given away.

One day, a ten-year-old boy went to an ice cream  shop,  sat at a table and asked the waitress, "How much  is an ice-cream  cone?" She said, "seventy-five cents." The boy started counting the coins he had in his hand. Then he asked how much a small cup of ice-cream  was. The waitress  impatiently replied, "sixty five cents." The boy said, "I will have the small ice-cream  cup." He had  his ice-cream, paid the bill and left. When the waitress  came  to pick up the empty  plate, she was touched. Underneath were ten one-cent coins as  tip. The little boy  had consideration for the waitress before he ordered his  ice-cream. He showed sensitivity and caring. He thought of others before himself.
If we all thought like the little boy, we would have a great place to live. Show consideration, courtesy, and politeness.  Thoughtfulness  shows a caring attitude.

There is  a legend about a wise  man who was sitting outside  his village. A traveler came  up and asked him,  "What  kind of people live in  this village, because I am looking to move from my  present one?"  The wise man asked, "What kind of people live where you want to  move  from?" The man said, "They  are mean, cruel, rude." The wise man replied, "The same kind of people live  in this  village too." After some time  another traveler came  by and asked the same  question and the wise man asked him,  "What kind of people live where you want to move  from?" And the traveler replied, "The people are very kind, courteous, polite and good." The wise man said, "You will find the same  kind of people here too."
What is the moral of the story? Generally we see the world not  the way it is but the way  we are. Most of the time, other people's behavior is a reaction to our own.

To give  you an example of selective listening, let me share with  you a story  I heard about a medical doctor who was invited as  a guest speaker to address a group of alcoholics. He wanted to  make a demonstration that  would be powerful enough to make people realize that alcohol was injurious to their  health. He had two containers, one with pure distilled  water and one with pure  alcohol. He put an earthworm into the distilled water and it swam  beautifully  and came up to  the top. He put  another earthworm  into the alcohol and it disintegrated in front of everyone's eyes. He wanted to prove that this was what alcohol did to the insides of our body. He asked the group what the moral of  the story was and one person from behind said, "If you drink alcohol you won't have worms in  your stomach." Was  that the  message? Of course not. That was selective listening--we hear what we want  to hear and not what is being said. Many of our blessings are hidden treasures, --count your blessings and not your troubles.

Building a positive attitude

    {There was  a man who made a living selling balloons at a fair. He had  all colors of balloons, including red, yellow, blue,  and green. Whenever business was slow, he would release a helium-filled  balloon into the air and when the children saw it go up, they all wanted to buy  one. They would come up to him,  buy a balloon, and his sales would go up again. He continued this process all day. One day, he felt someone tugging at his jacket. He turned around and  saw a little boy who asked, "If you release a black balloon, would that also fly?" Moved by  the boy's  concern, the man replied with empathy, "Son, it is not the color of the balloon, it is  what is inside that makes it go up." }

The same thing applies to our lives. It is what is inside that counts. The thing inside of us that makes us  go up is our attitude. Have you ever wondered why some individuals, organizations, or  countries are more successful than others? It is not a secret. These people simply think and act more effectively. They have learned how to do so by investing in the most valuable  asset--people. I believe  that the success  of an individual,  organization or country,  depends  on the quality of their people. I have spoken to executives in major corporations all over the world and asked one question: "If you had a magic wand and there was one  thing you would want changed, that would give you a cutting  edge in the marketplace resulting in increased productivity and profits, what would that be?"  The answer was unanimous. They all said that if people had better attitudes, they'd  be better team players, and it'd cut down waste, improve loyalty and, in general,  make their company a great place to work. William James of Harvard University said, "The greatest discovery of my generation is that human beings can alter their lives  by altering their attitudes of mind." Experience has shown that human resources is the most valuable asset  of any business. It  is more valuable than capital or  equipment. Unfortunately, it is also the most wasted.  People can be your biggest asset or your biggest liability.

POLITENESS is one of the most beautiful colour of life. It makes life beautiful. It makes you beautiful as well. Politeness comes with words and with actions. The throw of our words how we speak with others. The language we use with and for others with them and in their absence. Politeness doesn’t mean doing buttering. Politeness means speaking or acting withfull of love. Politeness is a good virtue and good deed as well. I have read in a book ‘Divine Virtue’ why to be rude and strict while running a company when God is so polite while running world. Just think about it, so true! God is not rude with ushe tolerates us and still loves us whether we love him or not. Just think of being polite and you will be. Everyone wants to be treated politely but doesn’t want totreat people politely. Very few people exist who always speak politely. What one need to be polite? Only low volume voice and soft words. It is not as difficult as we think. We only need to practice. Start practising from today. Politeness is a good karma. What you give out eventually comes back to you. Then why to make bad karma when we love to live peaceful life.

WHEN you make peace with yourself, you can be in peace with the rest of the world. If you can recognise the spirit in yourself, you can recognise the spirit in everyone, and then you find it natural to be kind and well disposed to all. If your thoughts are under your control, you become strong and firm. The personality is like a robot programmed to do certain tasks. Your habits and thoughts are the tools and programs that control your personality. Become free from being programmed, and then the inner good and the happiness that reside within you will be revealed. But a lot of work is necessary. Good habits have to be developed. The ability to concentrate and to control the thoughts has to be strengthened. The work is difficult and endless. There are many walls that need to be to climbed. It is not an easy task.Do not think about the difficulties, otherwise this is what you will see and experience. Just quieten your feelings and thoughts, and try to stay in this peace. Just try to be calm, and do not let yourself be carried away by your thoughts. Try to watch your thoughts and see how they come and go. Stay in the quietness that arises. The moments of peace will be brief at first, but in time they will get longer.

WHEN I was a kid, my Mom liked to make breakfast food for dinner every now and then and I remember one night, my Mom placed a plate of eggs, sausage and extremely burnt biscuits in front of my dad. I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed! Yet all my dad did was reach for the biscuit, smile at my Mom and ask me how my day was at school. I don’t remember what I told him that night, but I do remember hearing my Mom apologize to my dad for burning the biscuits. And I ll never forget what he said: “Honey, I love burned biscuits”. “Later that night I went to kiss my Daddy good night and I asked him if he really liked his biscuits burned. He wrapped me in his arms and said, “Your momma put in a long hard day at work today and she is real tired. And besides….. A burnt biscuit never hurt anyone!” “You know, life is full of imperfectt hings…….And imperfect people. Learning to accept each other’s faults and choosing to celebrate each other’s differences is one of the most important key to creating a healthy, growing, and lasting relationship.”

THINK of all the people who live or ever lived on our planet since the very beginning of time. None of them is like you! What a miraculous thing is to be you! Nobody has the same combination of talents, abilities, sorrows and opportunities. No one has the same friends, family jokes or acquaintances. Nobody‘s finger prints are the same. No one has the same concerns or goals like you. No one! You are unique! Accept and enjoy this uniqueness. You don‘t have to pretend to look more like other expect you to be. Don‘t be afraid to be different. No one in the world has the same things going on in his mind, soul, spirit as are going on in yours. It is a gift only to you. Treasure and share your uniqueness! Nobody can speak your words. Nobody can smile your smile. No one can bring the same unique impact of you to another person. Enjoy your uniqueness, let it flow out among your family and friends, all the people you meet. Give yourself away and be inspired by the fact that you are UNIQUE!

A WELL-KNOWN speaker started off his seminar by holding up a rupee 500 note. In the room of 200, he asked, “Who would like this rupee 500 note?” Hands started going up. He said, “I am going to give this note to one of you but first let me do this.” He proceeded to crumple the note up. He then asked, “Who still wants it?” Still the hands were up in the air. “Well,” he replied, “What if I do this?” And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now all crumpled and dirty. “Now who still wants it?” Still the hands went into the air. “My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth rupee 500/-.  Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value. You are special. Don’t ever forget it!!!  Never let yesterday’s disappointments overshadow tomorrow’s dreams....

Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room. One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs. His bed was next to the room’s only window. The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back. The men talked for hours. Every noon when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside. The man in the other bed began to live for those hours where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside. As the man by the window described all this in exquisite detail, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine the picturesque scene. Days passed. One morning, the nurse arrived only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep. As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. He propped himself up to take his first look at the real world outside. It faced a blank wall. The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things. The nurse said that the man was blind and could not even see the wall.“Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you.” 🌿🌸🌿🌸🌿🌹🌿

HERE’S your assignment for the day. Find a habit or long held assumption that’s holding you back and replace it with a habit that empowers you. Is there something you do just because it’s comfortable and familiar, that’s not beneficial, or is even harmful? Challenge yourself to think of a more positive replacement. As you go through the activities of this day, ask yourself about each one. Is it adding richness to your life or is it wasting your precious time? There is plenty of time available for you to do amazing things. With positive habits, you can train yourself to make the best use of each moment. There’s no need to be judgmental or regretful about whatyou’ve been doing. Just pick one thing at a time that hasn’t been serving you, and insert a positive replacement. Make the choice to program yourself for expanding success in everything you do. Give your life some fresh positive habits, and enjoy the great richness they bring. Go ahead and give it a shot. Nothing is more empowering than successfully doing something you thought you could not do. When you surpass one assumption, you’ll begin to question other limiting assumptions. When you step out of your comfort zone and taste success, you’re suddenly confronted with a whole new level of exciting possibilities...!

A WEALTHY man requested an old scholar to wean his son away from his bad habits. The scholar took the youth for a stroll through a garden. Stopping suddenly he asked the boy to pull out a tiny plant growing there. The youth held the plant between his thumb and fore finger and pulled it out. The old man then asked him to pull out a slightly bigger plant . The youth pulled hard and the plant came out, roots and all. “Now pull out that one,” said the old man pointing to a bush. The boy had to use all his strength to pull the bush out.“Now take this one out,” said the old man to the boy, indicating a big guava tree. The youth grasped the trunk and tried to pull it out with all his strength. But it would not budge because of deep and strong roots of tree. “It’s impossible,” said the boy, panting with the effort. “So it is with bad habits,” said the sage. “When they are young it is easy to pull them out but when they take hold they cannot be uprooted.” The session with the old man changed the boy’s life. Don’t wait for bad habits to grow in you, drop them while you have control over it else they will control you.

A GROUP of friends, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old university professor. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life. Offering his guests coffee, the professor went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and assortment of cups porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite telling them to help themselves to the coffee. When all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the professor said: “If you noticed, all the nice looking expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plainand cheap ones. While it is normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of problems and stress." Be assured that the cup itself adds no quality to the coffee". What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the best cups…..And then began envying each other’s cups. Now consider this: “Life is the COFFEE; the jobs, money and position in the society are the CUPS. They are just tools to hold and contain life, and the type of cup we have does not define, nor change the quality of life we live. Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee God has provided us”. God brews the coffee, not the cups...!

They made themselves look dirty with grease and dirt. Then they went to the Dean and said they had gone out to a wedding last night and on their way back the tire of their car burst and they had to push the car all the way back. So they were in no condition to take the test. The Dean thought for a minute and said they can have the retest after 3 days. They thanked him and said they will be ready by that time. On the third day, they appeared before the Dean. The Dean said that as this was a Special ConditionTest, all four were required to sit in separate classrooms for the test. They all agreed as they had prepared well in the last 3 days. The Test consisted of only two questions withthe total of 100 Points.

YOU cannot avoid the distractions, the noisy confusion. You can, however, rise above them. Solitudeis nice, but not always possible and certainly notalways desirable. Yet even when you have no soli-tude, you can achieve focus. Your mind always fil-ters whatever your senses perceive. You can choose what tonotice and what to ignore, and that choice is driven by yourvalues, your priorities. When you are operating with a strong, solid, specific intention, the distractions will not distract you.The cacophony of confusion will not entice you into its bewil-dering spell. Decide precisely what you intend to do today. And just as importantly, know why it matters so much, whatit means to you. Give yourself a clear sense of purpose today, that’s connected to all your value. And put yourself wherethe distractions cannot reach you. Decide with your heart, and then do. Decide with your heart, and then stay decideduntil the job is done. Decide to do what you know is right foryou. Then don’t let anything stop you from getting it finished.Feel the doubts and fears, and then move forward anyway. Each time anyone tells you why you can’t, remind yourselfagain of why you must.

In response, the students got angry and wanted to retort, but the presence of Buddha calmed them down. The words of Buddha confused not only the students but also the villagers. He turned to his students and said:–  You disappointed me.  These people are doing their thing.  They are angry.  They think that I am an enemy of their religion and their moral belief.  These people are insulting me and it’s obvious. But why are you angry?  Why did you let these people manipulate you? Now you depend on them, therefore you’re not free. The people from the village were completely confused and asked: - But we were insulting you, why aren’t you mad at us? Buddha smiled: –  You are free people, and what you did– is your business. I am also a free person and a master of my own actions. That is why I have my own right not to react to manipulation and be free from anger.🌹🌿🌹🌿🐦🐦🐦🐦

You are bigger than your circumstances or your life situation. Your life is not defined by your relationship status, your current job, your bank account, or anything that you have or have not done in the past. Do not listen to any person or automatic negative thoughts that may have conditioned you to think of yourself or your life as a failure.
Do not ever choose a permanent solution for a temporary problem. You have people who need you and who are counting on you. There is always another day and another way. Rise above the pain and know that deep inside of you there is another person waiting to break through. You have the ability to rebuild, regroup, recover and revive!! Breathe life into your dream. Know that you can live a meaningful and purposeful life. You are an unrepeatable miracle and your dream can live...despite what you feel or what you are going through right now! You have something special. You have GREATNESS within you!

💐💐 A beautiful story 💐💐

It was one seemingly ordinary day when I decided to QUIT… All of a sudden I made a decision to quit my job, my relationship and finally my spirituality. I just wanted to quit my life.
But before that, I went to the wood to have one last talk with God.
I started: “God, can you give me one good reason not to quit?”
His answer really surprised me: “Look around”, He said. “Do you see the fern and the bamboo?”
I replied: “Yes. When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them. I gave them light. I gave them water. The fern quickly grew from the earth.
Its brilliant green covered the floor. Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo. In the second year the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful.
But still, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.
He said: “In year three there was still nothing from the bamboo seed. But I would not quit. In year four, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed. I would not quit.”
“Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the earth.
Compared to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant…But just 6 months later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall.
It had spent the five years growing roots. Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive. I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle.”
After that, He asked me: “Did you know, my child, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots. I would not quit on the bamboo. I will never quit on you.”
“Don’t compare yourself to others.” He added. ”The bamboo had a different Purpose than the fern. Yet they both make the forest beautiful.” God said to me: “Your time will come”
“You will rise high”.

*UBUNTU* - A very nice story from Africa ...

The motivation behind the Ubuntu culture in Africa ...

An Anthropologist proposed a game to the African tribal children ...

He placed a basket of sweets near a tree

And made the children stand 100 metres away.

Then announced that whoever reaches first would get all the sweets in the basket.

When he said 'ready steady go!' ...

Do you know what these children did?

They all held each other's hands, ran together towards the tree, divided the sweets equally among themselves, ate the sweets and enjoyed it.

When the Anthropologist asked them why they did so,

They answered 'Ubuntu'.

Which meant -
_'How can one be happy when the others are sad?'_

Ubuntu in their language means -
_'I am because we are!'_

A strong message for all generations.
Let all of us always have this attitude and spread happiness wherever we go.

Let's have a *_Ubuntu_* Life ...

*I AM BECOS WE ARE*
